The Child Development Clinic (CDC) is a multidisciplinary clinic that includes a psychologist and social worker. We provide developmental and social assessments for children who are experiencing delays. The psychologist may administer rating scales, cognitive, language, and/or developmental screeners as well as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 (ADOS-2). Afterwards, the psychologist provides the family with a diagnosis (there may be more than one), treatment recommendations, as well as community resources to help their child. If children are identified at the Clinic as having complex medical and developmental issues, the clinician may refer the patient to our Neurodevelopmental or Behavioral Pediatrician.
